We are an established and well-respected healthcare and health services organization near Schofield, WI. We are looking to hire a licensed Pharmacist to take on a lead role in our organization.

What you need for this position:

- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Licensed pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin
- Advanced knowledge of Pharmacy software with regard to cost and clinical updates, pricing, billing, and inventory.
- Experience in supervision of technical and support staff
- Participate in evidence-based medication selection and/or review
- Ability to work well with pharmacy director, the health care team and patients to provide safe and effective pharmacy services

Function:
The employee will perform microbiological testing in accordance to all FDA and USP methods/guidelines as well as GMP’s. Performing microbial limited testing for all Raw materials and production products as required.  Performing tests on all in-processed products and finished goods. Monitors environmental microbial levels in manufacturing area, specifically OTC, Compounding and Epson Salt Room. 
  
Job Description:

Monitoring water quality of all products port of use i.e. p.o.u. Port of Use
Performing Microbial identification as required by GMP’s and USP methods.
Possessing and evaluating environmental samples and alert levels beyond USP requirements
Performing Preservative Effective Test (P.E.T.) on samples submitted by QA and formulator
Growth Promote in-house media with panel of organisms
Use various methods to identify possible contaminated products i.e. API kits, streaking plates for isolation
Releasing production products and Raw Materials
Assist QC Lab Manager with validation

Student Pharmacy Intern I

Prepares, fills and distributes unit dose drugs. Performs medication exchange at the appropriate times to the designated nursing units.

Assists in the preparation of sterile intravenous admixtures which may include chemotherapeutics, cardioplegics, and total parenteral nutrition formulations under pharmacist supervision.

Performs clerical functions such as maintaining the prescription file, answering the telephone and triaging calls.

Maintains adequate levels of drugs, intravenous solutions, and other supplies in the dispensing and admixture areas and records appropriately on the order book items below minimum level. Maintains an order book of items below minimum level.

Maintains adequate levels of stock drugs in Pyxis Dispensing System on nursing units.
